FELIN creates connections between sound and visual, constantly exploring how these two worlds collide.
Elin Blom aka Felin started her musical journey already in her teens. As a 16-year-old, she competed in the Finnish Eurovision and the same year Elin landed a sixth place in Swedish Idol. She has also written music for artists such as Adam Lambert and worked as a musician for acts such as Agnes and Icona Pop. As a solo artist, she calls herself Felin and creates energetic pop punk where the music is united with the visuals in an explosive unit. Many of her lyrics address topics such as gender equality and women’s rights. She is committed to LGBTQI+ issues and equal rights.
The Blondie records her dad played for her as a child still remain a seminal source of inspiration, as is the irrepressible style and performances of Debbie Harry. Over the years, Felin has curiously explored different genres, but now she has found her way back to her musical identity with distorted guitars, punk energy and pop-influenced choruses.
